Rwanda exported 972 tonnes of fruits and vegetables worth US$977,459 between September 14 and 18, 2026, according to data from the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB).
Fruit exports accounted for 571 tonnes valued at US$558,818, with the United Arab Emirates and other African markets among the main destinations.
Vegetable exports totalled 401 tonnes and generated US$418,641. The shipments were mainly destined for Great Britain, the Netherlands, the UAE and other African countries.
The fruit and vegetable shipments formed part of Rwanda’s broader agricultural exports during the five-day period.
Overall, the country exported 8,391 tonnes of agricultural products valued at US$11.81 million between September 14 and 18.
